All before 10 AM today:
My oldest wrote a story
My daughter cut her own hair with scissors I left out.
My baby pooped in the potty for the first time and shredded half a roll of toilet paper.
Just things I wanted to remember about today.

Those are good things to remember! So what was the book about? And going to the bathroom isn't any fun unless you can shred (or use) half a roll of TP!
TTYS - Sniz
His story was a writing assignment I gave him. He had to write a story about his favorite Pokemon or favorite Star Wars characters. He chose Star Wars. I figured he would be more likely to do it if I let him write about something he was interested in. I was being a bad mom and letting him stay home from school for a "day of rest". So I gave him homework. That makes sense.
I've been a mother for 22 years and we've never had a kid cut his own hair. That is, until this week!
Barrett, at 6 1/2 came strolling out of the bathroom the other day with a pair of scissors in his hand, "How do I cut this part of my hair Mommy?" and pointed at his head! He then insisted on my telling how old he has to be before he can cut his own hair. I told him, "46."
By the way, thanks for your call about the turtle.:-) You made Alec's day!
I think I'd be so happy if Nate pooped in the potty (which he has yet to do) that I wouldn't care about the shredded toilet paper!
